Description
C30 tank engines were originally introduced in 1903 to haul Sydney suburban services but after electrification many were sent to outer suburban lines, Newcastle, Wollongong and some country centres.
The Austrains model features:
- Full die-cast metal chassis, boiler and side tanks
- 5 pole skew wound motor
- Gear driven to all driving axles
- Stainless steel coupling rods, valve gear and driving wheels
- DCC and sound Ready
